Every April we recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month to highlight the importance of working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, and promote the overall well-being of children and families.
We ask that you consider raising awareness and funding for foster youth in our community by initiating a dress down day and “Go Blue 4 CASA” at your school during the week of April 20, 2020.
Teachers, administrators, or students can dress down, wear beads, ribbons or anything blue with a $1-$5 donation per person. CASA will provide “Go Blue 4 CASA” stickers, flyers, and any other materials and assistance necessary to promote the “Go Blue 4 CASA” Dress Down Day at your school.
All funds raised stay local and go to support CASA’s mission of recruiting, training and coaching volunteer advocates who speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in our local foster care system and ensure these children are placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
Your support will help change a child’s story!
Participants are encouraged to take pictures of Dress Down activities and post on social media using the #GoBlue4CASA.
To participate, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org, register your school with the form to the right or call 201-336-7520 for more information.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Once your dress down day is complete, please send donations to the CASA Office located at One Bergen County Plaza, Suite 334, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Please make all checks payable to CASA for Children of Bergen County. Payments by credit card are also accepted online here and select Go Blue for CASA in the drop down.
